Stuart,
Is this a pass through port so that I will be able to use my printer like
3DS or do I have to switch for each function. Please be pass through. :-)

When you get LightWave for Intel, the installer will ask you if you
want to install for 3.1 or NT. If you install for 3.1, win32s will
be installed automatically as well. If you install for NT, the
spro driver will be installed. The Sentinel key must be in the
parallel port for either version to work, but under 3.1 the driver
is unnecessary. NT has more firewalls, so a driver is needed for
the program to access the hardware.
Under win95, the key is still needed, but the software can access it
using the 3.1 method without the driver (since win95 is not as memory
safe as NT). All you need is to install the LW exe and stick the
key in the port and you're off.
